A Curitorial Voice

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is truly passionate about film, and an important part of the job, perhaps the most important, is to share that passion with its guests. One of my biggest contributions to that goal is our custom Showpages. These short writeups have to sell the movie while maintaining an air of authenticity -- not an easy target to hit. Depending on the film, showpages also serve as a platform to highlight special menus, events, and collectible merch, all while maintaining Alamo Drafthouse's reverently irreverent brand voice.

Is it a coincidence that the first Drafthouse Recommends film I worked on also won Best Picture? Probably, but I'm proud of the work either way.
